How paid and refunded Deals are recorded
Order payment events update the Deal record and billing event safely.
When payment succeeds
Shopify sends the paid-order event. NegotiaCart links the order to the Deal and records the applicable success-fee event once, using idempotent processing.
When an order is refunded
A Shopify refund event is recorded against the relevant paid Deal. Your order and refund workflow remains in Shopify; NegotiaCart maintains the audit and billing state.
If an event is delayed
Do not create duplicate Deals. Check the Deal and order reference first, then contact support from the embedded app with the store domain and order number.
